SweetStamps #55-St. Patrick’s Day

Hello everyone-
Are you surprised to hear from me?  LOL!!  I’m surprised that I’m even writing this blog tonight!!!
We are getting better, but because it’s been so cold here, it seems to be a slow mending process!!
I managed to get in my room and put a card together for today’s challenge at SweetStamps!! I really don't like disappointing my teammates!!!

Today’s theme challenge is:
St. Patrick’s Day

I love the big and bold clovers on this card.
The sentiment and clover stamps come together too!!!  I was so excited when the BoBunny paper matched perfectly with the color of the ink!!!  WaHooo....I love it when things just seem to fall into place!!!  LOL!!!
Now remember you can use any stamp on your challenge entry, but if you use a SweetStamps image, you will get two entries into the giveaway!!!  Join is us in this weeks challenge for a chance to win $20 of rubber stamps from SweetStamps!!!

See you soon.

SweetStamps BINGO Challenge

Hello everyone-
I hope that everyone enjoyed their 2 or 3 day weekend holiday.
We have another fantastic challenge for you over at SweetStamps Challenge Blog!!
We are playing BINGO this week!!! YEAH!!
Here is this weeks card:
All you need to do is pick one line on the card, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. You can even choose an X or + pattern. Easy right?!?! And FUN!!!!
Here is my sample card:

Now isn’t that Fairy Butterfly the cutest thing!!! I love how she is pinching the edges of her dress to make it look like she is walking into something. So that is why I had to do a shaker card with those amazing little Micro-Beads. I really like how the card came out, although I was not crazy about the paper pad in the beginning, I think the image really tied everything together.
So there you have it my sweet friends, I really hope that you will swing by SweetStamps and see what amazing projects the other DT created for this weeks challenge. Remember that you don’t have to have SweetStamps in order to play and there is a $20 gift certificate for SweetStamps rubber stamps up for grabs.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Let us be Grateful

Wow...It's Sunday AGAIN!!!
I've been so under the weather, I couldn't begin to tell you what day of the week we are in!!!
And now, the boys have it too!!!  My 2 y/o is miserably uncomfortable and has to appetite, with a slight fever!!  Argh!!!

So thankfully I have managed to work a little ahead of schedule, because I would be so behind on my DT assignments right now!!  Sorry ladies, but I am trying!!!

So, this weeks challenge over at Sentimental Sundays is:
Lets get Sentimental
We want to see emphasis on your sentiment, let it be the focal point of your card.
Here is my card sample:

I use to belong to the Unity Stamp Club way back when and I have these HUGE sentiments stamps, that I love and I just can't seem to part with!!  I wish they would start making more of these....... I love the size and it really makes a statement, right!? :)

Well I am keeping this short and sweet today, but I hope that you decide to get sentimental with us this week and show us some great sentiments.

SweetStamps and Roses

Hello everyone-
Today is my very creative post with SweetStamps and I am super excited!!
When I received my DT package last week, it was like Christmas all over again!!
I was very impressed with these stamps and could not wait to getting stamping, but I had to wait.  I have been out of my creative zone for a whole week, due to a viral infection and other personal matters.   I tried not to let that stop me, because I couldn't disappoint Stacey and the rest of the team, so i made every effort throughout the week to work on my card.

Today's challenge theme is all about:
ROSES

Here is my card sample for this week
Although simple in design, I really like how the red in the roses stand out so bold and beautiful.
This is image is called "Rose and Bow" paired with Authentique Wonder paper pad and colored with my Copic Markers

So there you have it and I hope that you enjoy may card today and feel inspired to join us this week. Remember that you don't have to use a SweetStamps stamp to enter, but if you have them, please show them off.  Also remember that you could win a $20 Gift Certificate for SweetStamps rubber stamps.
Looking forward to visiting your blog, if my health permits.
Thank you so much for stopping in today.

Happy Sunday everyone-
Today is another simple yet fantastic challenge over at Sentimental Sundays.
This weeks theme is:

I chose to work with  My Lil Monster- Here comes trouble!
Here is my card sample:

How cute is that!!!  I love that little monster and that sentimental is so cute.
I am thinking of getting some more of the other My Lil' Monsters and creating a bunch of these onesie cards!!!  The green trim on the onesie,  I used Dots and Stripes paper by Echo Park.

A very simple card, but very fun to make!!

I hope that you will pay us a little visit at the Sentimental Sundays blog, either to say "HI" or to join in this weeks challenge.

Feel the LOVE w/ Henry

Good morning early birds!!
Wow, what a week this has been!!
The cabinets in my scraproom finally got installed, had to move my desk around today, so that I could occupy more floor and wall space.  I am trying to maximize this room as much as I possibly can!!!  I am in a way smaller room than before and I still lots of sorting to go through!!  It all just seems never ending!!

Since it is Sunday, that means that it's time for another Sentimental Sundays Challenge.
This weeks theme is:
FEEL THE LOVE

For this weeks challenge, I decided to do something that I have never ever done before.
I have created a Book Card!  I had to translate the measurements, but I think I followed the directions pretty good.  Now, I have to say that I can't tell you, nor show you what's inside this box, since it is complete and there's a HUGE surprise for hubby inside.  And since he likes to visit from time to time....I can't let the cat out of the bag just yet.  I will however, let you all know once he receives this card.

So here is my weeks sample:
I fell in love with this guy, the minute I saw him at the ALL THAT SCRAPS store and new that I had to do something special with him and I think I achieved exactly that!!
Here are more close up of the flower bunches and Henry:

I can't wait to show you the rest of this card!!!  I think this has to be my best project this year!!!
Lots of stitching, dry embossing, lots of distress ink, lots Maya Road products.  Well for the time being, while I make your head spin with the suspense!!  LOL!!

That is all from me today...I think!!  Make sure to make a stop at the Sentimental Sundays blog and see the amazing inspirational pieces the ladies created for you this week.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

CropStop Challenge #56 Sketch/DT

Good morning everyone-
Happy Thursday to you!!!

First of all, I would like to mention that I have been invited to join the wonderful ladies at CropStop Challenge Blog!!! YEAH!!! I was super shocked and delighted at the same time!!!
In speaking with Vicki, who is SUPER sweet and awesome by the way...I made a little mention of CHA and before you knew it, Haylie Jo registered me...I signed up for workshops, booked my hotel and off I went to CHA Anaheim!!!
THANK YOU HAYLIE JO!!!!!  THANK YOU VICKI!!!!!

I had an amazing time...it was a bit tiring, because I overloaded my schedule and had to see everything and meet everyone all three days that I was there!!

So.... I want to tell you about this weeks challenge at Crop Stop.  I was SUPER DUPER EXCITED when I saw this sketch from PageMaps!!
And if you haven't seen or heard about  the NEW Becky Fleck Page Maps™ dies by Spellbinders, you need to check them out HERE.
This weeks sketch coordinates perfectly with these new dies!! How fun right?!?!?

Well here is this weeks sketch...and for a little added bonus, you MUST incorporate a number somewhere on your layout!!
Here is my take on the sketch:
And here is a close up picture of the crackle paint and the glittered cupid!

I love the way this came out!!!
The scalloped border was cut with my Spellbinders Scalloped Square die.
I slightly cut down the center of the paper and did the out of the box technique, so that I could get the scallops straight and evenly spaced!!  Pretty clever eh?!?  Sorry, I met a lot of people from Canada and they all said "eh" at the end of every sentence, it was pretty funny!!!

Well I am hoping to post pictures later this week....Still waiting to get some back from a few of the girls I met out there from Nebraska...Hi girls!!!  They were so much fun to hang out with!! I had a really good time and met many new and incredible people, for which I hope to stay in touch with!!

That is it from me today...
I really hope that you will stop by and give this weeks sketch a go, who knows you might be the lucky winner of $15 dollar Gift Certificate to the CropStop Store!!!

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
(Corrugated paper from Starbucks Sleeve)
