Freebie Friday @ Baby Bud Designs

Good morning bloggers-
Just a few hours, til we bring in the NEW YEAR!!! We are having friends over, the ones like ourselves who have kids or are pregnant!!! So we will be eating, telling stories and playing our favorite word game!!!
So today I wanted to share a card that I made using today's Friday Freebie at Baby Bud Designs. His name is Kai and he is simply adorable. When I saw him, I was feeling rather down, because of several things that have been occurring around me and my feeling came out on the card.  I made a card to apologize for all the bad things that I have done and/or said!!!  I want to bring in 2011, with all smiles and an open heart.
Here it is: (Please note, that the black-eye was colored in and is not part of the actual digi)

I used Sketch and Stash Challenge #33.
I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Hugs and Kisses and Thinking of you!!!

Good morning to all!!!

Well today I have two cards to share with you.
They both are using SP and Company Stamps, Mini Card Creations II.  I have really enjoyed using this stamp set.

So here is the first card:

I stamped  Hero Arts Heart Frame (CG129) with VersaMark, embossed with Satin Pearl embossing powder, colored the hearts with Copic R29.  I saw a cut file for a Hershey Kisses, but for some reason couldn't get it to cut on my Cricut, so I hand drew one and covered it in foil!!! I think this will be a cute Valentine's Day card!!!!

And this is the second card:
I stamped the Mini Card on white cardstock, then stamped Verve Stamps, Miracles Blossom, with SU Handsome Hunter, Pink Passion and Ruby Red ink, then backed it against kraft cardstock. Added definition by distressing with Broken China and Peeled Paint distress inks.  Used a little bakers twine and a charm I had laying around.
I hope that you have enjoyed these cards today.  Don't forget to visit the other SP and Company DT gals!!!
I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by today, really do appreciate it!!!

Merry Christmas with lights!!!

Hello everyone-
I hope that you had an amazing Christmas with your families and friends and that Santa has blessed you with amazing presents this year.  Today is my rest day!!!  So I wanted to take this time and show off a card I made for our friend, who is my biggest fan!!   So I had to make something extra special for her.

THIS CARD WAS PUBLISHED IN THE CRICUT HOLIDAY IDEA BOOK!!!  :)

It's also my first step ladder, step stair card!!!  There are so many names for this type of card, that I don't even know what the actual name is!! LOL!!!  Anyways....isn't awesome.
But that's not all.....the tree actually lights up....YES!!!!  IT LIGHTS UP.........

Check it out, I made a little video:

I used so much liquid applique and diamond dust on this card!!!  love those two items....A LOT!!!
The house and lamp post are from the Jolly Holly Cricut Cartridge. The tree is covered in Claudine Hellmuth, Sticky-back canvas and distress ink.  Here's a fantastic video by Jennifer McGuire, HERE.
Now, the lights are actually a necklace that my Patrick found at Aaron Brothers. It's called "lotsa lites"
Flashing Holiday Necklace and Hero Arts-Winter Message (CL240) for the Merry Christmas sentiment.
S.E.I.- Snow Angels Paper and white pen.

Flourishee Card and Ornament and GIVEAWAY!!!!

Good morning everyone!!!
Well I seem to have messed things up a bit!!!! LOL!!!
Not really bad....I just have to change somethings around.....but the good news is, that I will be doing the giveaway on blog instead.

Here are the projects I created this week....

Here are the details........

For today's project I used Flourishee Stamp Set and Ultimate Sentiments I Stamp Set.

Instructions for card:
Stamp 3 rows of 4, alternating the flourishee image on white cardstock.
Use Spellbinder S4-114 to cut the base and mat.
Lay ribbon in the middle of the card, between the stamped image and white space.
Stamp sentiment, add embellishment and TA DAH!!!!

Instructions for Ornament:
Squeeze varnish inside the ornament and turn until the entire inside is coated.
Set over a glass, so that the extra varnish can drain.
In the meantime, stamp image(s) on tissue paper.  I used Sazon, because it will NOT bleed!!
I tried stamping with SU stamps and it bled, once it touched the varnish.
Cut around your image.  Wrap the tissue paper around the end a paint brush and insert inside
buld.  The tissue paper should open up.  Use the end of the paint brush to guide the tissue in it's position. Be careful and remember you are working with tissue paper, it will tear very easily.
Once you have all the images inside the buld, pour fine glitter inside and cover the entire buld.
You can leave the ornament as is...or you can decorate the outside I did.  I also embossed the cap in black.

So what do you think?????
Would you like to add these to your Christmas tree this year????
If so, enter via Froggy (at the end of the post) and I will pick the winner on the 18th!!!!!!
Good luck and thank you!!

I will be entering this set in the following challenges:
